ISU Bodø and ISU Steinkjer are subsidiaries of the umbrella organisation ISU Norway. ISU Norway aims to highlight the social, academic and political situation of international students in Norway.
Duties
- Members of the International Committee
- Highlight the challenges international students face at Norwegian institutions
- Participation in orientation week at the beginning of each semester
- ISU Bodø is required to submit a biannual financial report to the International Committee
- Maintain a dialogue with student associations and buddy leaders
- Dialogue with the Student Associations, StudentiNord, and the International Office
Student welfare
ISU arranges regular activities and events, like Arctic Escape, which give international students the opportunity to socialise and look around Bodø. Events include international week, film nights, quizzes and an annual farewell party for students leaving Bodø.
