Science Week ("forskningsdagene")

From September 21 - October 2 2016, Nord University will host a range of lectures and events on this year's theme "Borders".

Science Week, or "forskningsdagene" in Norwegian, is an annual nationwide festival in which research and educational institutions showcase their activities in new and exciting ways.

The aim of Science Week is to foster curiosity and understanding for research within the broader community.

Theme 2016: "Borders"

People, ideas, money, data, animals, plants and energy cross visible and invisible borders every day. This year's theme is addresses issues ranging from refugees, climate change, security and globalisation to so-called big data and groundbreaking research.


The English programme shows a selection of events in Nordland and Nord-Trøndelag.  A full programme is available in Norwegian.
