All students must each semester

The deadlines for registering for a semester and registering for teaching and examinations can be found in the academic calendar (normally 15 September for the autumn semester and 1 February for the spring semester).

Withdrawal/cancellation

Changes spring 2021:
According to the temporary regulation – extraordinary measures as a result of the coronavirus epidemic, you may withdraw from examinations no later than two days before the examination date. When you withdraw before the deadline, your registration will not count as an examination attempt.

All students who are eligible and registered for the 2020 autumn semester examination can register for a new examination. Admission to a new examination only applies to the first attempt at an examination following the ordinary examination, and does not apply after 30 June 2021.

All students who qualify for an examination in the spring semester of 2021 can register for a new examination. Admission to a new examination only applies to the first attempt at an examination following the ordinary examination, and does not apply after 31 December 2021.

This does not apply to candidate’s theses, bachelor’s theses and master’s theses.
