Background: Ph.D. in Sociology from the Faculty of Social Sciences in Bodø (2018).
Worked at the Department of Sociology and Political Science, NTNU as a research assistant from 2014-2015, teaching sports science and social science research methods. Employed as an Associate Professor II at the Department of Sociology and Political Science at NTNU from 2019 to 2023.
MSc. in Sports Science from NTNU (2014).
Areas of expertise: Sociology of sport, innovation and sports coaching, including topics such as social inequality, social inclusion and exclusion, technology and digitalization in sports, the role of coaches, coach-athlete relationships, sustainability, and gender perspectives in sports.
Teaching at the bachelor, master, and Ph.D. levels in social science research methods, sociology of sport, sport management, and sports science.
Supervision of Ph.D. students in sociology, sport management and sport science.
Supervision of bachelor and master's students in sports science, sport management, sociology and Human Resource Management.
