Member of the MINS division: Research on Environment, International Relations, the Arctic and Security.

Leader of the International relations and politics research group.


Holds holds a PhD in political science from UiT - The Arctic University in Tromsø, with a thesis titled: Governance by conference? Actors and agendas in Arctic politics (2021). Master in political science from UiT/UiO.

DIrector of studies for the bachelor program in international relations.

Course responsible for the bachelor thesis in international relations, Introduction to international relations and Norwegian political institutions.

Research interests include foreign policy, international politics related to the High North and the Arctic, regimes, governance systems and agenda setting.


Author of Arctic Governance Through Conferencing. Actors, Agendas and Arenas.
