I am an Associate Professor of Social Sciences. My primary research focus is China's Arctic foreign and security policy. In addition, I am also interested in the broader Asian (Japan, South Korea, India, Singapore) Arctic engagement. I received my PhD from City University of Hong Kong in Hong Kong SAR (analyzing China's Arctic foreign policy making and regional engagement) and a master's degree from Zhejiang University in Hangzhou, PRC. I previously held teaching and research positions in Hong Kong and Japan.
