Marianne Terese Steinmo will hold a trial lecture and defend her thesis for the degree Philosophiae Doctor (PhD) at the Business School at University of Nordland, campus Helgeland Friday the 27th of March 2015.

Thesis title:

How Firms use University-Industry Collaboration to Innovate: The Role and Development of Social Capital and Proximity Dimensions

Trial lecture title:

According to the proximity perspective that you use to address university-industry relations, what types of innovations are more likely to be worked out? Is there a relation between the nature of proximity and the types of innovation (radical vs incremental)?
