​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Research focuses on the fields of Aquaculture, Ecology, Genomics, Animal Science, Production and Welfare and Algae and Microbial Biotechnology and the interaction between these. The faculty offers modern facilities, including state-of-the-art laboratories and a large, well-equipped research station with its own harbour.

Research at the faculty is conducted by highly qualified teams continuously pushing at the frontiers of knowledge. Our researchers publish papers in reputed international journals, and present their findings at international conferences and network meetings.​
