The primary objective of the project is to generate new knowledge that will provide a better optimization of grazing in dairy herds with automatic milking (AMS).

​​The secondary objectives: I) Get a better understanding of how grazing management (such as cow traffic) impacts the milking frequency and other AMS performance parameters. II) Examine the economical effects in different grazing management systems. III) Develop strategies for optimal utilization of pastures and AMS.​
