In the academic calendar, you will find the most important dates throughout the academic year. Note that deadlines are absolute.
  • Autumn 2024
    ​July 1 - September 1Student registration, including deadline for payment of semester registration fee.
    Mon August 12 Official, joint opening of the academic year (Note: dates may differ from location to location) 
    ​Wed August 14Orientation day for new international students
    August 15Deadline for applications to reinstate admission for the autumn semester.
    Mon August 19Teaching commences according to timetable. NB: Some programmes commence prior to this date. Check your individual timetable.
    ​September 1 Deadline for:
    • Payment of semester registration fee and completion of semester enrolment.
    • Course enrolment for the autumn semester.
    • Registration for examinations in autumn (ordinary, supplementary, extraordinary and delayed)
    • Applications for special examination arrangements

    September 17​Deadline for election of student representatives for individual study programmes.

    ​January 14Orientation for new international exchange and joint degree students at Nord University Business School, Campus Bodø.
    January 15​Deadline for applications to reinstate admission for the spring semester.
    ​January 20​Main application deadline for outgoing student exchange (for either or both autumn and spring in the coming academic year).

    • Payment of semester registration fee and completion of semester enrolment.
