Alyssa Marie Kvalvaag is a PhD Research Fellow in Sociology researching re/presentations of migrant integration in northern Norway with a local focus on policy, media, and migrant perspectives. She is affiliated with the research division Welfare and Social Relations. Kvalvaag is the Responsible Book Review Editor at the Nordic Journal of Migration Research and a member of the inaugural cohort of the IMISCOE PhD Academy.
