Msc in Financial Economics from BI Norwegian Business School, Norway
PhD in Finance from BI Norwegian Business School, Norway (will be defended in September 2020)

My primary research interests are in the area of empirical corporate finance, specializing in family firms and their governance using unique micro-level data on Norwegian limited-liability firms, their owners and employees.
Current working papers look at:
  • The compensation of family firm employees and examine the pay gap between family and non-family employees.
  • The reasons for the underperformance of family successions.
  • The self-selection of family members into working for their family's firm.
