Format: In-person seminar (no Teams)
This research seminar is intended for PhD students and academic staff working on topics related to organization studies, sustainability, innovation studies, science and technology studies (STS), and responsible research and innovation (RRI). Participants are invited to submit work-in-progress papers for feedback and discussion. Priority will be given to papers aligned with these themes or with potential fit for the journal Organization & Environment (ABS level 3).
Prof. Mario Pansera will offer insights from his work as Deputy Editor of Organization & Environment, and provide constructive feedback on submitted manuscripts. The seminar aims to support early-career researchers in the publication process and foster collaboration across research groups.
The seminar will begin with a brief overview of Mario’s work and the Post-growth Innovation Lab, followed by an introduction to the Organization & Environment journal.
About the invited editor:

Mario Pansera is Professor and Director of the Post-Growth Innovation Lab (University of Vigo, Spain). His research focuses on post-growth theory, innovation for sustainability, responsible research and innovation, and science and technology studies. He leads the ERC project PROSPERA (Prosperity without Growth) and is an internationally recognised scholar in critical innovation studies.
Submission of papers:
Participants may submit working papers (full drafts or extended abstracts). A maximum of 4 papers will be selected for detailed feedback during the 2-hour session.
The seminar is open to PhD students and researchers from Nord University. PhD students from other Nord campuses are encouraged to attend. A limited number of travel scholarships will be available to support participation.
