The conference will be held on June 13 to June 16 2023 in Košice, Slovakia.
The conference is free online for students - register via the link on the right!
The event is a result of a long-standing partnership and joint efforts of the universities as key societal actors to respond to the difficult challenges faced by the humankind over the last few decades.
The first joint conference on global change was organised by the universities in Košice, Slovakia in 2017 with the financial support from Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through the EEA and Norway Grants. Two years later, it was followed by the conference “NordGlobal 2019” in Bodø.
For the third time, the event will become an international and multidisciplinary platform to share current knowledge, exchange experience, and build partnerships and scientific networks.
The programme covers three topics:
1. Impact of global change on public and animal health – the One Health concept
2. Impact of global and climate change on the environment
3. Impact of global and climate change on water resources and air
Collaborating organisations:
University of Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacy in Košice, Slovakia
Faculty of Biosciences and Aquaculture, Nord University, Bodø, Norway

Institute of Postgraduate Education of Veterinary Surgeons, Slovakia
European Food Safety Authority – National Focal Point in Slovakia
The conference benefits from a grant from Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through the EEA and Norway Grants as part of the initiative “IGC – Joint Scientific Conference on Global Change”.
