Academic Writing Advanced

Academic Writing Advanced
This course is aimed at students who will design and write longer assignments in the academic style, such as bachelor’s and master’s thesis and more advanced academic texts.

In this course, you will learn how to structure your academic texts and develop a stronger control of the academic writing style. You will also learn about the writing process and common elements of academic writing – from choosing a topic, to finding a research area and formulating a good problem. We discuss elements of academic literature, such as literature reviews, theory and methods. We discuss data privacy and the use of artificial intelligence. You will also learn about good writing habits and tips for getting started.

The course requires a minimum of 5 registrations to be conducted. If there are not enough participants, the course will be cancelled, and those registered will be informed in advance.
