International Days 2025: Programme for visiting universities

International Days 2025: Programme for visiting universities
Nord University welcomes our partner universities to International Days 2025!

Note that this event is by invitation only.

Our partners will get the chance to experience Nord University and all it has to offer. They will also get the chance to share their universities with our students, who will learn more about the opportunities to study outside Norway during their degree at Nord University.

We have created two programmes, one for our partners and one for our students:

During the student programme, you will get the opportunity to promote your university as a destination for a semester abroad.

During the partner programme, you will find the programmes and the universities that will be present during the International Days below, along with some practical information for visiting Bodø.

We look forward to welcoming you at Nord University, campus Bodø!

  • Weather

Weather in Northern Norway can be unpredictable. We recommend you use the Yr website to look at the weather forecast ahead of your trip.

    Accommodation

    Hotels in Bodø include:

    • Scandic Bodø
    • Scandic Havet
    • Wood Hotel
    • Radisson Blu
    • Quality Hotel Ramsalt

If you would prefer to stay on Campus, there is also short-term housing available, and you get to experience ”student life”.

    The city also offers AirBnb

    Public transportation

Bodø (and Nordland) have great public transport, which can be used through the Reis app. You can download it for android or iPhone. The #2 bus goes all the way from the airport “Bodø lufthavn” to Nord University “Universitetet”. If you are staying at a hotel, the closest stop is “Bodø sentrum”, except for Wood Hotel.

    Clothing

There should not be too much rain in September, but we recommend waterproof coats and shoes, just in case. The reception will be business casual, but otherwise we are pretty informal. Feel free to dress comfortably, we’ll be walking a lot!
