Reserving and ordering items

In the Library's search engine you find books, journal articles and other material Nord University Library and other academic libraries have access to. If material is out on loan or the University Library does not have the material you may reserve/order it. Sign into via FEIDE (same sign-in as for Fronter, Studentweb). The interlibrary loan service is restricted to Nord University's students and employees. Students who live far from study locations may ask to have material sent to their home address.

Reminders and claims for compensation

In the case of late return of material, reminders are sent by e-mail or SMS. If you still do hand in the material you will be sent a claim for compensation of minimum NOK 750 per item. In addition, there is an administration fee of
NOK 250 per invoice. A new book may purchased as a replacement for a lost item if it is handed in before the invoice's expiration date. Contact the library at e-mail if you have any questions regarding received reminders or claims for compensation.

Suggest items for purchase

Nord staff and students are the Library’s main users. To ensure that we provide the best possible selection of literature within Nord University’s academic disciplines, we encourage students and staff to suggest items for purchase. Send your suggestion to your branch of the University Library.
