- Register yourself as author:
- Click on “Add contributor”
- In the new window, choose contributor type («Author») and click on “Add me”. Please note: NVA will automatically add your present affiliation. For most researchers, it will be correct to manually change the affiliation to “Nord University”. You do this by clicking “Add affiliation” and selecting Nord University. Remove irrelevant affiliation.
- Register your supervisors:
- Click on “Add contributor”
- In the new window, choose contributor type (“Supervisor”) and search for the name of your supervisor. Choose the right person from the result list. If your supervisor is not registered, click “Add contributor” to register him/her manually (he/she will be marked as “unidentified”).
- Repeat this process to register several supervisors.
- Register yourself as author:
- In the “file, licence and link”-tab:
- Upload the right version of your thesis (the print shop's PDF).
- Choose “Open file” (accessibility) and “General terms of use” (licence).
- Click on “Save and view”.
- Click on “Publish registration” (under “tasks” on the right-hand side) to publish the registered description of the thesis (metadata). The University Library receives the uploaded full-text for further processing and authorizes the articles in the thesis. If required, an embargo period is applied to those parts of the thesis that cannot be made accessible immediately.
