ASANOR CONFERENCE 2022 Appalling Ocean, Verdant Land: America and the Sea

The conference, which this year focuses on America's relationship with the sea, brings together over 70 eminent international researchers in the fields of literature, history, art, indigenous studies, and political science for a series of keynote lectures, research presentations and panel debates, as well as a selection of related cultural and networking activities. 

ASANOR 2022 is organized by the English section at FLU, with financial support from the faculty, the research group Humanities, Education and Culture, as well as the U.S. Embassy in Oslo, and entails a solid professional boost for the university and a high point in the calendar for the Norwegian Humanities and Social Science research environments within American studies .
