International conference "Norwegian-Russian Partnership in Business, Education and Research: ​Impacts on individuals, institutions and society"

The conference is organized as a part of celebrating the 25-years anniversary of cooperation between High North Center, Business School at Nord University with Baltic State Technical University.

​​​​​This cooperation has been in continuous development and includes, today among others, MGIMO University (Moscow), Murmansk State Technical University, Northern Arctic Federal University (Arkhangelsk), Tyumen State University and Ukhta State Technical University. The cooperation has been closely connected to business and governmental institutions.

The conference aims at sharing experiences of Norwegian-Russian cooperation and discusses future opportunities for building a partnership in business, higher education, and research.

The conference assembles various stakeholders from Norway and Russia representing industry, governmental and non-governmental bodies, and higher education and research institutions.
During the conference, we will present and discuss opportunities connected to projects, study programs, and institutions influenced by our cooperation. Graduates, who occupy important positions, will share own experiences.

The High North Center for Business and Governance is also organizing a separate workshop entitled “Management of the High North: the role of context, strategies and plans”. The workshop is part of the program of the 2016 UArctic Congress and takes place in St. Petersburg on 14 September, 2016.
