Infection control during autumn commencement

hand wash
Keep your distance, keep your hands clean and stay at home if you feel sick.

Students are now exempt from social distancing rules in teaching situations. Although students may sit shoulder to shoulder in auditoria and classrooms, the one meter rule still applies in common spaces, in the library, during lunch and other breaks, and for all social events.

Maintaining the one meter rule in all situations except teaching helps us limit to the number of close contacts between individuals and restricts transmission of potential infection. Continue to maintain good hand hygiene and stay home if you feel sick. Avoid shaking hands and hugs.

Download Smittestopp

We ask all Nord students to use the Smittestopp-app to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. To facilitate infection tracing, should this become necessary, keep track of where you sit in auditoria and classrooms.

Testing

You should get tested if you have symptoms that may indicate a COVID-19 infection or have been in close contact with an infected person.

Rapid antigen tests will soon be available on our campuses.

If a student, staff member or visitor at Nord University tests positive for COVID-19, he/she must notify university authorities by calling +47 99 36 40 00.
