The Student Survey is a national survey that asks students about their perceptions of the educational quality of their own study programmes.

The survey is sent out each year to second- and fifth-year bachelor's and master's students. In total, there are around 1800 programmes of study in Norway. This year's survey will be sent out on Thursday 21 October, with a deadline for response of 14 November.

An important voice for better quality

– Students have an important voice in the work on improving educational quality. Through the Student Survey, they get the opportunity to develop their own study programme.

– At the same time, it gives us, as an institution, useful information about the students' experience of the quality of education, says Anne Ringen Pedersen, Director of Academic and Student Affairs at Nord University.

It takes 10-12 minutes to answer the questions in the Student Survey. The questions deal with topics such as teaching and supervision, student satisfaction, expectations, the study and learning environment and working life relevance.

How to respond to the survey

A personal link to the survey will be circulated to second- and fifth-year students by email from 21 October. Students who do not respond will receive an SMS and possibly a new email with a link to the questionnaire.

The information will be treated confidentially and will not be published in any way that can identify you.

The results will be published on studiebarometeret.no
