Nord University campus closures extended

Nord universitet Bodø
Nord University’s campuses will remain closed until May 20, 2020.

This means that there will be no on-site classes, and students should not be present on campus grounds.

Online classes where possible, few exceptions

Normal, on-site classes will be replaced by online classes wherever possible.

By extending campus closures, Nord University aims to provide students with a degree of predictability and calm in order to focus on studies, rather than require students travel in order to attend classes.

Exemptions apply to certain student groups. These students have been notified directly.

Staff to work from home

Staff will continue to work from home until May 20.

Only the following staff may be present on campus:

  • on-site operations and maintenance staff,
  • staff granted exemption by the faculty or department director on the basis of extraordinary circumstances, and
  • staff whose work relates to students exempted from campus closures, in periods directly relating to student activity.

Staff who are exempted from working from home have been notified by their work supervisor.
