The SEA-EU Alliance offers an excellent platform to support such initiatives.
A key feature of the project is its comprehensive database, which includes research groups and infrastructure from all participating universities. This tool is ideal for identifying potential collaborators. You can easily search by research area, keywords, or specific SEA-EU partners.
Access the database here: SEA-EU Research groups
Seed funding
To further support this collaborative research effort, Nord University has launched a seed funding initiative that all employees can apply for. You can find the call text and application forms here: strategic funds (intranet)
Eligibility Criteria:
- Approval from your Dean
- A detailed project plan
- Collaboration with at least one SEA-EU partner
- Alignment with Nord University’s strategic priorities
Researchers may apply for up to 100,000 NOK, which can be used to cover travel costs, meetings/workshops, or other relevant project expenses.
We strongly encourage all researchers to engage in the SEA-EU initiative. Whether by joining the upcoming Governing Week, connecting with visiting SEA-EU partners, or exploring the online platform, there are many ways to get involved and expand your collaborative network.
Good luck—and we look forward to seeing your ideas take shape!
