High North Center Takes Part in Arctic Youth Conference and Arctic Frontiers
We're excited to participate in two major events in Tromsø from January 24th - 30th.

Tuesday Jan 28 | A panel discussion exploring Norway's position in the evolving geopolitical landscape, focusing on the EØS agreement, Arctic shifts, and relationships with NATO, the EU, and global powers. Thursday Jan 30 | Sustainable Development Goals for the Arctic - a 90-minute hybrid session featuring expert presentations, panel discussion, and interactive Q&A with both in-person and online participants. Key discussion topics: - Developing inclusive approaches to Arctic SDGs - Enhancing local and indigenous community participation - Understanding the role of cultural components in sustainable development The session is organized by SECEG (the Social, Economic and Cultural Expert Group) in Arctic Council and the High North Center for Business and Governance at Nord University. | 11.00-12.30 at The Edge: Importkompaniet. |
Arctic Youth Conference
Before Arctic Frontiers, we also attended the Arctic Youth Conference.
We hosted a stand, sharing our ongoing projects and initiatives relevant for young people.
