Petter Nore lener seg på et podie mens han tydeligvis snakker til et publikum. Vi ser bøker og en flier med High North Center bak ham.
How likely is Russia to increase its gas exports to China?
Professor Petter Nore of the High North Center with important contributions to newly published anthology.

This article is more than one year old.

Our Professor emeritus, Petter Nore, has published the article Gass Bridges and Geo-Economics of the Arctic. The article is built around two narratives.

The first narrative is of how the Sino-Russian Gas Bridge will decline in importance towards 2060 ( Net Zero) , and become largely irrelevant.

The second narrative describes how gas will strengthen its position in China’s energy mix and gas imports from Russia will continue to increase. While written before the War in Ukraine, the article sheds light on the difficulties for Russia to substitute the loss of its European gas markets with new exports to China.

The article is part of the recently published anthology Global Development in the Arctic
