Research at the Faculty of Biosciences and Aquaculture
The faculty develops works to increase knowledge and form the basis for a sustainable aquaculture and agricultural industry and better management of the marine environment.
Our research forms the foundation for research-based teaching at the faculty, which is combined with relevant, practical issues.
The faculty’s academic environment is organized into five subject groups, which are divided into several research units. The subject groups are, in various ways, connected to external collaborations at the regional, national, and international levels.
The faculty has actively worked to facilitate binding forms of cooperation with recognized industry partners, as well as national and international research communities.
