Semester registration
All students at Nord University must register in Studentweb at the start of the semester. You can pay the semester fee and register as a student as soon as you receive your student number. After you have completed payment and registration, you must register for teaching and examinations. You will also be able to access important learning tools and online meeting rooms at Nord University. The deadline for payment and registration is September 1st.
Official opening of the academic year and attendance
Monday, August 12th
09:30 – 10:00 Welcome. Place: Roundabout at Campus
10:00 – 12:00 Classes start up in the auditoriums. Place: No1114 (The foyer in Nordlåna)
12:00 – 12:30 Lunch. Place: No1114 (The foyer in Nordlåna)
13:00 – 14:00 Official opening of the academic year. Place: The Trønderhall
14:00 – 14:30 Meet up with the buddies. Place: The Trønderhall
14:30 – 16:30 Getting to know each other activities and barberque. Place: On Campus

After you have completed semester registration, you can log in to TimeEdit and see your personalized timetable. Note that information about timetables also can be given in Canvas. We recommend that you log in to Canvas regularly.Digital learning forms an important part of education at Nord, regardless of mode of delivery. It is important to have the rigtht equipment. All students should have access to:
- PC/Mac/tablet with internet access
- Headset
- Web camera
If you have special needs that affect your learning situation, you can apply for special arrangements in teaching and examinations. Application deadline is September 1st.
