University of Cyprus

The University of Cyprus, located in Nicosia, was established in 1989 and admitted its first students in 1992. Today, there are approximately 7000 undergraduate students that attend. Nicosia is the capital and biggest city on the island of Cyprus.
  • Academic workload

    A full workload is 30 ECTS per semester.

  • Tuition fee

    No tuition fee for Erasmus+ students.

    Number of student places

    4 students per academic year.

  • Housing

    Students can apply for on- and off-campus student housing. There is a limited number of rooms for in the University Student Halls, so students are advised to apply early.

    Cost of living

    As a student you will need approximately 700-1000 EUR a month.

  • Admission requirements

    Student must have completed one year of university level studies, equivalent to 60 ECTS, to become an exchange student.

    Note that some academic programs may have additional admission requirements and course prerequisites.

    A valid passport is needed at application stage.

    Language requirements

    English B2 or Greek B1 is recommended by the institution. Most courses are in Greek.
