University of Groningen

The University of Groningen has a rich academic tradition, dating back to 1614. The University has a strong international reputation and maintains a firm position in the top 100 of leading international ranking lists. The city of Groningen enjoys a bustling reputation, and one or two semesters here includes festivals, sporting activities and café concerts. Groningen is also known as the "World Cycling City".

  • Admission requirements

    Student must have completed one year of higher education, equivalent to 60 ECTS, to become an exchange student.

    Language requirements

    English CEFR B2 is required. English skills at level C1 is recommended.
