Cost of living
Students are expected to have at least 10,000 SEK per month for living expenses (including accommodation). The public transport card for students is 590 SEK/month and the rent is approximately 16,000-25,000 SEK/semester for a single or shared room.

Admission requirements
Students must have completed one year of university level studies, equivalent to 60 ECTS.
Language requirements
English B2. Students who speak either Norwegian, Swedish or Danish are not met with specific language requirements in placement options.
Non-EU/EEA/Swiss nationals may be required from the Swedish Migration Agency (Migrationsverket) to obtain a student visa before studying in Sweden.
Exchange students are covered by a student insurance policy via Kammarkollegiet (Sweden's Legal, Financial and Administrative Services Agency). This insurance provides coverage for disability and death benefits, medical and dental care, home transport, personal property coverage, third party liability, and legal expenses.

Södertörn University
Södertörn University was founded in 1996 and is a state-governed higher education institution in Stockholm. The campus is located in Flemingsberg, south of the city, where they conduct education and research for sustainable societal development. Currently, the university has approximately 11 000 full-time students and around 350 international students.
