The Vita-Salute San Raffaele University (UniSR) is a private university founded in 1996, and organized in three departments: Medicine, Philosophy and Psychology. San Raffaele is located in Milan, the largest industrial and cosmopolitan city in Italy.
  • Academic workload

    A full workload is 30 ECTS per semester. This exchange can be taken by students who are admitted to:

    (PRA2029) Clinical Practice: Patients with Acute, Critical or Chronic Diseases part 1: Specialist Health Care Services.

    Cost of living

    A student would roughly be spending around 1.000,00/1.200,00 euro per month for the room rent, food, transportation and other expenses, depending however on the student’s lifestyle.

  • Admission requirements

    Language requirements

    English B2, Good command of Italian is recommended though not a prerequisite.

  • Exchange students from non-EU/EEA countries must apply for a visa/study permit before entering the country of destination. Generally, students must be able to satisfy the financial documentation in order to be issued visa. For more information, go to: Italy Visa

    All exchange students must have valid health insurance, regardless of their nationalities. Students may be expected to purchase health care insurance for the duration of their stay, in addition to the insurance the students have from their home countries. EU/EEA students must bring their EHIC card. Non-EU/EEA students need to show that they have valid health insurance that covers their whole stay. For more information, go to:
