Ede Christian University of Applied Sciences (CHE) is a medium-sized university in the fields of Nursing, Social Studies, Business, HRM, Communications/PR, Journalism, ICT, Education and Theology. Ede is situated in the middle of the Netherlands, and most major Dutch cities are in reach within the hour by train.

  • Admission requirements

    Students must have completed a year of higher education, equivalent to 60 ECTS. Note that some academic programs may have additional requirements. You can read more about enrolment here.

    Language requirements

    English CEFR B2 is required.

  • Exchange students from non-EU/EEA countries must apply for a visa/study permit before entering the country of destination. In the Netherlands, you must apply for a visa and/or residence permit through the International Office at Ede. You cannot apply by yourself.     All exchange students must have valid health insurance, regardless of their nationalities. Students may be expected to purchase health care insurance for the duration of their stay, in addition to the insurance the students have from their home countries.
