University of Education Schwäbisch-Gmünd

The University of Education Schwäbisch-Gmünd, founded in 1825, is a public research university located in the state of Baden-Württemberg, in the south-western part of Germany. There are approximately 2700 students attending the university. The university started as a teacher's seminar and teaching training is still a principal pillar for the university. Schwäbisch-Gmünd is a cozy town with approximatey 60 000 inhabitants, and the urban city of Stuttgart is only a 40 minute train ride away.
