Programme description

BirdID WP is a web-based study with the main emphasis on determining birds using appearance and sound. After passing exams for WP, it is possible to participate in our field courses which are excursions to Morocco, Bulgaria and Norway. Passed exams for Norway or at national level for other countries are required before an application can be made to take the exam for WP.

Both registration for the exam and registration for the field courses are done via www.birdid.no

The field courses in Morocco, Bulgaria and Norway can be taken independently of each other and in the order the student wishes. It is not compulsory to attend the field courses. The exams in sounds and appearance of birds must both be passed for WP before it is possible to apply to participate in the field courses.
Please read about admission requirements at www.birdid.no
