The semester package in Public Sector Economy consists of the following courses:

Performance Measurement in the Public Sector (7,5 ECTS credits )
Public Accounting and Financial Reporting According to IPSAS (7,5 ECTS credits)
Risk Management and Internal Control (7,5 ECTS credits)
International Governance and Business in the Arctic (7,5 ECTS credits)

The semester package will provide you with knowledge, skills, and general competencies about multiple perspectives on public sector governance. Dynamically changing international practices of public sector management, in some cases complemented with private sector cases, will be the key focus throughout the semester. Other stunning topics offered during the semester include management of performance in the context of different entities, social impact measurement, risk management, and international governance.

This semester package is only offered for exchange students from partner universities. Please go to student exchange to Nord for more information about the admissions process at Nord University.

Exchange students are admitted on the basis of nomination by their home institution. This means that the student will have to apply to their home university first to participate. The home institution will provide the student with information about the admission requirements.

The student must have a relevant bachelor degree within business or other relevant academic fields.

The semester package corresponds to 30 ETCS and may be recognised as one semester of graduate educational programmes.

Costs for course literature applies.

There are no tuition fees for exchange students.

The Norwegian system for grading and assessment using the letter grades A - F, in which A denotes the best/highest grade and F denotes "not passed". Candidates’ work can also be assessed as "passed", "not passed", "approved" and "not approved".
