Om meg/bakgrunn

Bakgrunn / Background: 

Mikhail is a PhD candidate at the Faculty of Social Sciences and a part of the division 'Innovation and Leadership'. He holds MSc. and BSc. degrees from Nord university, including a visiting graduate stay at the University of Northern British Columbia in Canada as a mandatory part of his master's studies. In addition, he completed a program in Regional economics from MIBO, Russia and one-year program 'Cross-border business and politics' from the International Barents School.​

Mikhail has work experience in internationalisation, CSR, the tourism and sports industry in both Norway and Russia.​


Kompetanseområder / Field of expertise:​ 

His research interests range across several key areas within social entrepreneurship and prosocial venturing, including: social entrepreneuring, collaboration in social entrepreneurship as well as social and impact investment. In his current research Mikhail draws on entrepreneurship-as-practice (EaP) and the sociology of entrepreneurship.​​

Mikhail has been invited as a guest lecturer for the course in social entrepreneurship organized via SSES by Stockholm University, Stockholm School of Economics, Karolinska Institute, Konstfack (university college of arts, crafts, design) and KTH Royal Institute of Technology

Forskning / Research: ​

Mikhail's research project is titled 'Doing good by playing well with others: social entrepreneurial practices for collaboration with the local public sector organizations in the Norwegian context'.​ The project addresses the social entrepreneurial practices to enact collaboration with the local public sector organizations by exploring how social entrepreneurs enact resources through collaboration and how collaboration is (re)negotiated and unfolds.​
