Om meg/bakgrunn

Bakgrunn / Background: 

Mikhail is an Assistant Professor of Social Entrepreneurship at the Leadership and Innovation Division and holds PhD in sociology with specialisation in entrepreneurship​. His research interests lie in the area of entrepreneurship with a particular focus on social entrepreneurship and social venturing as well as impact investing. His research involves the use of qualitative methods to consider diverse aspects of social entrepreneurship and social venturing.

Prior to starting an academic career, Mikhail gained diverse professional experience in internationalisation, CSR, the tourism and sports industry.​ He holds MSc. degree from Nord University, and the University of Northern British Columbia in Canada.

During his doctoral studies, Mikhail has been a visiting scholar at the Stockholm Business School.
