Julia Olsen
I am an Associate Professor in Environmental sociology. The primary research areas are socio-economic adaptation to multiple changes in the Arctic, ocean sustainability, marine litter, shipping and tourism development in the High North. I have a PhD in sociology where I examined impacts of increased shipping activities in the Barents region on local coastal communities and their adaptive capacity.
