Patrick Murphy
Background:
Cand. philol. degree in English and pedagogy studies at the University of Oslo. Teaching experience from Østerås skole, Bærum (lower secondary). I also have experience teaching in high school (Kristen vidergående skole, Nordland). Started working in teacher training at Hedmark university college in 1995, and have been employed at Nesna university college/Nord univeristy from 1997.
Accredited Teacher (merittert underviser) distinction.
Have through the year taught the majority of courses offered in teacher training, thou subject didactics - and especially methodology - is closest at heart.
Mentoring FoU papers and master students, incl. within the subjects of mathematics and Norwegian.
I have a special interest for and competence in the creation and use of learning paths in my teaching serving as additional teaching between gatherings.
Methodology being close to heart, action research on development of especially e-learning and asessment are the core of ongoing research.
