Research groups

  • The research group Sport and Human Movement Science (SaHMS) focus on essential variables for performance development and learning of skills from a multidisciplinary approach to sport science human movements in general.

  • The research group deals with inclusion and quality in physical education, outdoor life with a focus on motivation, as well as management and inclusion. The research group also focuses on the degree of activity and physical shape among children, young adults, and adults, in addition to studies on nutrition and health.

  • Research group for Learning and Development of Performance in Sports conducts studies about learning/ training and factors that influence performance in sports.

  • The research group aims to contribute to increased scientific understanding of the performance development in cross-country skiing and biathlon.

  • The research group conducts research activities on topics related to psychological and physiological aspects of sport and exercise.

  • Fields of research in educational settings are multidisciplinary, with a common focus on extended classroom and varied instructional methods.
