Albert Ludwig University Freiburg

Freiburg is located in southwestern Germany and is known all over the world for its historical old town, mountains in the Black Forest, high environmental standards, and naturally for the University of Freiburg. The University, nestled in the city center, was founded in 1457. The University has received multiple national awards as one of the best universities in Germany, and it is a creative and inspiring learning, researching, and living environment for its roughly 25 000 students.
