University of Warsaw

University of Warsaw, founded in 1816, is the largest university in Poland. It occupies a good global ranking among the top 3 % universities in the world according to the Times Higher Education World University Ranking (THE). There are over 45 000 students attending, with over 4800 of them being international students. The main campus is in the heart of Warsaw - the capital of Poland.

  • Housing

    Cost of living

    Students can expect a monthly cost of living in Poland to be EUR 400-500.

  • Admission requirements

    Students must have completed one year of university level studies, equivalent to 60 ECTS.

    Language requirements

    English CEFR B2 for courses taught in English and Polish CEFR B2 for courses taught in Polish.

  • All exchange students, regardless of their nationalities, must have valid health insurance prior to studying in Poland. EU/EEA students must bring EHIC card.
