University of Padova was founded in 1222, making it one of Europe's oldest universitites. There are over 65 000 students and 2200 faculty members across 32 departments. The University includes over 60 specialization schools and 40 PhD schools. Padova is located about 30 km west from Venezia.

  • Admission requirements

    Students must have completed one year of university level studies, equivalent to 60 ECTS.

    Language requirements

    Italian A1 is required for courses in Italian.

    English B1 is required for courses in English.

  • Submitting a valid insurance card/policy/certificate before your arrival is mandatory. The insurance must be valid for the whole mobility period.

    European students or student residents in the EU may submit the European Health Insurance Card (EHIC).
