Individual Curriculum
The course provides the students with the opportunity to deepen their knowledge in a scientific topic not covered by other available courses at FBA. The topic is chosen in agreement with a supervisor. The course normally includes independent literature search, a written literature review and an oral presentation.
It is also possible to in-depth oneself in advanced analytical techniques, or learn about specific taxonomic groups, or other practical related topics on advanced level. A close dialogue with a supervisor to ensure a high scientific level and suitable curriculum is demanded.
Indicative information about the course regarding size of the curriculum, literature review, oral presentation and example for practical in-depth possibilities is described in the Canvas room "Master at FBA".
On successful completion of the course:
Knowledge
The student will:

•dependent of the course content, is able to use relevant selected methods for research
Skills
The student will:
•be able to explain important theoretical and empirical aspects of the selected scientific topic at Master level as described above.
•depending on the specialization, can apply advanced analytical or practical methods in the field.
•can extract new aspects from a bulk of reviewed literature and generate research ideas
General competence
