  • the structure of atoms and the structure of the periodic system
  • bond conditions, nomenclature and stoichiometri
  • water solutions and gases
  • acids, bases and buffers, salts and oxids in water
  • reduction and oxidation, the voltage range
  • organic chemistry, functional groups and nomenclature

Environmental knowledge:

  • pollution's effect on biological systems
  • key themes like pollutants, climate gases, acid rain, petroleum pollution and radioactivity will be highlighted
The subject is reserved for the study programmes Animal Welfare and Animal Sciences - Welfare and Production, Circular Bioeconomy and Nature Management. Other students can get admitted if there are places available. Contact student advisor.
Students must meet current admission requirements for the associated study program.
