The Bachelor’s thesis is an independent assignment, written either alone or two students together.
The Bachelor’s thesis is an independent assignment, written either alone or two students together. Given the topic of the thesis, an academic supervisor is appointed, who guides the student (s) in the writing process. The topic of the assignment is elective, but should be relevant for veterinary nursing. The thesis can be written as a literature study, or by gathering your own data (surveys, surveys, journal data) as the basis for the thesis.
For students admitted to the Bachelor in Veterinary Nursing at Nord university only.

  • Is able to write an academic text clearly and concisely, using the right terminology of the dicipline
  • Is able to find, evaluate and refer to relevant academic literature from different types of sources, in order to elucidate problems relevant in veterinary nursing.

General Competencies: The candidate

  • Is able to communicate the essence of scientific literature, such as theories, academic problems and research results.
  • Is able to exchange knowledge and views within the profession of veterinary medicine, and through this contribute to professional development of veterinary nursing.
  • Is able to critically evaluate scientific articles.
No tuition fees. Costs for semester registration and course literature apply. The university require that students have a laptop.
Compulsory for Bachelor in Veterinary Nursing.
Individual tutoring.
Evaluation using mid-term and final surveys. Students are also encouraged to participate in the central quality surveys.
