Cost Accounting and Budgeting

The course provides an introduction to the preparation of management accounts for standard cost method, including variance analysis. Moreover, the course provides an introduction to decision-relevant costs, pricing and preparation of a cash budget, income budget and balance budget.
Paid semester fee and syllabus literature. It is also required that students have a laptop at their disposal.
Compulsory
Lectures, and working in groups on exercises, with assisting teachers.
The study programme is evaluated annually by students by way of course evaluation studies. These evaluations are included in the university's quality assurance system.
