Anders Parmann is a graduate in law from the University of Bergen. He has previously worked as a university librarian at UiB and is now working as an Associate Professor in legal science.


Research Interests:

Anders Parmann's research focuses on property law and the history of property rights, where he explores both historical and modern aspects of property rights. The right of public access ("allemannsretten") and harvesting rights in Norway are among his main interests, where he examines the development of these rights over time. Additionally, he has participated in the project "Law for Non-Lawyers," which aims to improve the teaching of law to students who are not pursuing a career in law.


Teaching Areas:

Anders Parmann teaches a wide range of subjects, including real estate and legal studies. In these subjects, he particularly emphasizes property law, legal methodology, law of obligations, and law of monetary claims.
