With broad experience from the private and public sector, community involvement is the common element in my professional background. I have worked as a municipal community developer and strategy advisor, but have worked in the media industry for most of my career. In addition, I have been involved as an examiner and supervisor at Nord University.

My educational background includes sociology, guidance, management and journalism. I have a master's degree in knowledge management from Nord University with the main focus on top management as a translator in a changing society.

Now I am a PhD candidate in the subject group Management and Innovation. The PhD project is based on the Norwegian work and welfare model and its encounter with a global working life on Norwegian soil. The main focus is leaders' understandings and practices in the meeting between the local and the international.
