Suitability Assessment Committee

Throughout their degree program, students pursuing certain professional fields are subject to ongoing suitability assessments. An overall assessment of the student's professional and personal suitability for employment in social services, health care, education, or animal care includes several measures.

A student will be deemed unsuitable if they pose a risk to the life, physical or mental health, rights, or security of minors, students, patients, clients, users, or animals. Please refer to the Nord University Regulations relating to study and exams for more details.

Gøril Ursin is the committee chair.

Institutional authorities for assessing suitability: Janne Dahl Rønning, Trine Sofie Søderblom and Janicke Toxen Flack.
